Today, won't be about QuickBooks either . It was a pretty rough day because I had to put my cat to sleep. He had cancer and we have been caring for him for awhile with his illness. He took a turn for the worse about a week ago. He stopped eating and drank very little. You could see the sadness in his eyes.
This was a cat who was mine all mine. He and I were best buddies for 17 1/2 years. He would give me "kisses" and head butt me when I asked. He was my best friend. It was so hard to see him in pain. He would look at me with such sad eyes, like "help me". He had a large tumor on his belly that could not be treated due to his age. He lost a lot of weight in the last week. How I struggled with the decision to put him down. We were with him in the end and he actually put his paw out for the vet when it was time. Almost like he knew and he was at peace.
How I will miss him! He was the best cat ever, right till the end. The picture I use for my Spark page is a picture of him when he was healthy.
I know he is in heaven with my son right now. I told him to be sure to take care of Mikey for me.
