Free Trial of QuickBooks 2011

Well for some reason, Intuit decided to do away with the free trial of the Premier program of QuickBooks for 2011.  It is too bad because it was a great way for a client to look at and try out the program before purchasing.  I cannot tell you how many people I convinced to go to Premier from the Pro product by offering them a chance to test drive the product before they purchase it.

But they did not do away with it all together.  Fortunately, they still let you try out the online version, Mac product and Enterprise Solutions.  Enterprise is very similar to Premier.  Here is a link to the free trials.

Now, I have to caution anyone wanting to see the new program in action, DO NOT UPGRADE YOUR ONLY DATA FILE INTO THE FREE TRIAL OF ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS.  Once you do, there is no going back to using it in Pro.  That is considered going "backwards" by Intuit.  Once you change the file to Enterprise, the only way to go back to Pro or Premier is to have a company do that for you by transferring the data to a new data file or by you purchasing 3rd party data transfer program and doing it yourself. 

But of course, since all readers of my Blog back up their data file all the time, you can always restore a recent backup if you did update the file to Enterprise by accident.
